Day 1743 - Simon and Garfunkel "Wednesday Morning, 3AM" - 02.29.16

This afternoon I walked down to the Goodwill on La Brea.  There were a bunch of great records that had been marked as $9.99 by mistake.  I think because of that no one had scooped them up.  I took them to the checkout and asked if they had been priced incorrectly and they had.  So I picked up some decent copies Simon and Garfunkel, a couple Who and Pete Townshend records.  All in all I picked up 15 records, some rock and some others like Sam Butera and Francis Faye.  This is something I saw today.

Day 1742 - Finding Dory Cereal - 02.28.16

This last year Disney has really been delivering with the cereals.  There has been the Avengers cereal and the Star Wars cereal and now a Finding Dory cereal.  I really like the packaging on this one.  This is something I saw today.

Day 1741 - Bird Pillow - 02.27.16

This is one of the new pillows we bought for our new patio furniture.  This evening we had some friends over and we hung out around the fire pit and sat on the new furniture.  This is something I saw today.

Day 1740 - LACMA Lamps - 02.26.16

This afternoon I walked over to LACMA to take some photos of the lamp posts.  I've now taken photos there quite a few times.  It is sort of a challenge to find a new way to shoot them each time I go.  This is the result and something I saw today.

Day 1739 - Window Washer Platform - 02.25.16

At lunch I saw some men setting up this window washing platform.  Later in the afternoon I stepped out to take a photo hoping men would be washing the windows.  Unfortunately they weren't but the platform was still set up.  This is something I saw today.

At work in the cafe there are these nice glass coasters with the company logo on them.  This is something I saw today.

Day 1735 - The Rolling Stones "Out Of Our Heads" - 02.21.16

This evening I listened to a bunch of records.  I dipped into the classics listening a couple Beatles records.  I also pulled down this Rolling Stones album, but in the end I didn't listen to it.  I got too late.  This is something I saw today.

Day 1734 - Performing Arts Center - 02.20.16

This afternoon my wife and I drove to a dance competition where my daughter danced with her school dance team.  I thought is sort of ironic that the competition didn't happen in this nice performing arts center, but instead in the gymnasium which was just across from this building.  This is something I saw today.

Day 1733 - Marvel vs Capcom - 02.19.16

We got a Marvel vs Capcom arcade console at work this week.  This is a show of the control panel.  This is something I saw today.

Day 1731 - Miami Connection - 02.17.16

Tonight after work we watched Miami Connection in the screening room at work.  As always it was a great time.  This is my friend with his copy of the movie that we watched.  This is something I saw today.

Today at lunch I walked over to the La Brea Tar Pits.  This is the George C. Page Museum at the tar pits.  This is something I saw today.

This is a record I pulled off the shelf a while back for a listen.  It is in a stack of records that need to be re-shelved.  I saw it today and thought I'd take a photo.  This is something I saw today.

I borrowed a box set of Alejandro Jodorowsky films.  I watched El Topo earlier this week.  This DVD case is something I saw today.

Day 1726 - Jack Skellington Pillow - 02.12.16

This is one of two Jack Skellington pillows that we bought at Disneyland this past fall.  We've decided to keep them out year round.  This is something I saw today.

I love black and white comics and in the 80's there were some amazing black and white comics.  Cerebus is one of those comics.  I pulled this off the shelf today for this photo.  This is something I saw today.

A friend of mine had two copies of this Doctor Who episode and so he gave me his extra.  This is something I saw today.

Day 1720 - 16th Birthday Party - 02.06.16

Tonight we had a birthday party for my daughter's 16th birthday.  This is her with a bunch of her friends.  This is something I saw today.

Day 1719 - Fire Pit and New Chairs - 02.05.16

Today my wife and son went out and bought a fire pit and some new chairs for our back porch.  The reason for the purchase is that this weekend we are having a sweet 16 birthday party for my daughter and she wanted to be able to have some of the party in the backyard. This is something I saw today.

Day 1718 - Alley In The Afternoon - 02.04.16

I stayed home sick again today.  The sad thing is that I actually had asked for this day off so that my wife and I could go to Disney's California Adventure and try and ride all of the rides there in one day.  Unfortunately we both have the flu.  This upside is that this meant I was able to take this photo of the alley next to my house in the afternoon when I am usually not around.  There were beautiful blues skies today.  This is something I saw today.

Day 1717 - Ant-Man - 02.03.16

I've been home sick from work since yesterday.  Last night I couldn't sleep because of the fever and such.  So in the middle of the night I watched the second half of Ant-Man.  This Ant-Man case is something I saw today.

This Pretenders album is not something I bought recently.  I've actually had it for years.  However since picking up Pretenters II recently I decided to pull out their first album as well.  This is something I saw today.
