Day 1652 - Dance Shoes - 11.30.15

Sometimes I feel like our house is drowning in dance things.  This pair of shoes that were left on a dance program on this end table is just one example.  This is something I saw today.

Day 1651 - Flo's Cafe - 11.29.15

This morning my family and I woke up 2AM mountain time, which is 1 AM Pacific time.  We hit the road and drove to Disneyland.  We made it there in 5 1/2 hours.  We had breakfast at the Storytellers Cafe.  It was yummy and we got to meet some Disney characters.  We then went into California adventure for a couple hours before heading home.  This is my daughter in front of Flo's Cafe with some holiday decorations.  As you can see we were there pretty early before the crowds really set in.  This is something I saw today.

Day 1650 - Nativity - 11.28.15

Day 1649 - Rabbit - 11.27.15

I was sick again today and never left my mother's house.  She got out her holiday decorations.  She also had a box of Easter decorations she wanted to give away.  This rabbit was in that box.  This is something I saw today.

Day 1648 - Thanksgiving Portrait - 11.26.15

Today was Thanksgiving and I was horribly ill.  It did manage to get up and take this photo of my daughter.  Pretty much she asked me to take some photos, which she then put on her instagram.  This is something I saw today.

Day 1641 - House of Mystery Issue 269 - 11.19.15

Recently I have pulled some issues of House Of Mystery off the comic book shelf next to my bed.  This week I have had a couple quiet evenings ready these comics.  This issue is the last one I was reading.  This is something i saw today.

Day 1639 - J. Geils Band "The Morning After" - 11.17.15

I recently picked up a couple J. Geils Band records at the Goodwill.  This is not one of them.  I've had this on for a while.  But buying and listening to those new ones made me think of some of the others I had on the shelf.  So I pulled this classic down off the shelf.  This is something I saw today.

My nephew is getting married this weekend and tonight we had a pre-wedding dinner at Buco Di Beppo.  This is my brother hugging his niece (my daughter).  It was a really fun evening catching up with family.  This was something I saw today.

I brought my camera to work today.  For lunch I walked down to LACMA and took some photos.  This has the lamps from LACMA with the building across the street.  This is something I saw today.

This evening I met up with some friends at The Grove after work to talk about some projects.  After that we had some sandwiches at Phil's Deli.  This is something I saw today.

This morning I went to my dentist in Pasadena.  Before the appointment I swung by City Hall for a photo.  This is something I saw today.

Day 1630 - Blue Sunset - 11.08.15

This evening I stepped out to take a photo of the sky during sunset.  The photo was rather unremarkable and so I played with the color balance to give it some interest.  It still isn't very good, but it is something I saw today.

Day 1629 - Turkey Decoration - 11.07.15

This afternoon my wife and I stopped by an estate sale.  Among the things we picked up was this old turkey decoration.  It was old and right up our alley.  This is something I saw today.

Day 1628 - Jefferson Airplane Takes Off - 11.06.15

I am clearly just being lazy today.  I pulled another record off the shelf and you can see that I didn't even look too far aware from the last record by Jean Michel Jarre.  In fact is you look closely you can see that record sticking out in the background.  Anyway in addition to listening to Jean Michel Jarre recently I actually have been going through the Jeffesron Starship catalog.  So I have had Jefferson Starship and hence Airplane on the mind.  This record is something I saw today.

Day 1627 - Sunrise - 11.05.15

I watched a beautiful sunrise this morning while making breakfast.  I had to run out front and snap a photo.  Not sure I really captured it, but oh well.  This is something I saw today.

I picked this soundtrack up recently at my local record store.  I've been listening to a lot of Giorgio Moroder digitally recently and now I am building up a collection of his music on vinyl.  This one is great.  This is something I saw today.

Day 1623 - Church Of Scientology - 11.01.15

This morning we had to go over to the West Side to Keiser's urgent care with my daughter who has been sick for several days.  Before heading back home we decided to drive over to a nearby purple building with a bug cross on the roof.  I was surprised when we arrived in the front to discover that is was a Church of Scientology Administrative building.  I honestly had no idea that they used a crucifix as an icon in their church.  Anyway, I jumped out and snapped a photo before we headed back home.  This is something I saw today.
