Day 1917 - Baptist Church in Santa Monica - 08.21.16

This afternoon we drove over to Santa Monica for my daughter to do a driving lesson with AAA.  While she was driving we drove down the street to a record store.  We parked across the street from this neighborhood church.  This is something I saw today.

Day 1623 - Church Of Scientology - 11.01.15

This morning we had to go over to the West Side to Keiser's urgent care with my daughter who has been sick for several days.  Before heading back home we decided to drive over to a nearby purple building with a bug cross on the roof.  I was surprised when we arrived in the front to discover that is was a Church of Scientology Administrative building.  I honestly had no idea that they used a crucifix as an icon in their church.  Anyway, I jumped out and snapped a photo before we headed back home.  This is something I saw today.

Day 1617 - Armenian Church - 10.26.15

I have driven by this Armenian Church over in Little Armenia a bunch of times to take a photo.  Today I got one I am kind of pleased with.  The challenge is that there is an ugly wall and telephone poles around the church so it is hard to find good angles.  This is something I saw today.

Day 1613 - Wilshire United Methodist Church - 10.22.15

Before heading into work this morning I drove down Wilshire to the Wilshire United Methodist church to take some photos as the sun started to kiss it.  This is something I saw today.

Day 1192 - Church Patio - 08.27.14

This is the patio at my church at about 6:30 this morning.  It was something I saw today.

Day 867 - The Time Lord - 10.04.13

This church on the corner or Clark and Buena Vista usually has a good sense of humor when it comes to their signs.  Given my love of Doctor Who I could not pass up stopping and taking a snap of this week's sign.  It should be noted that the same church has a funny video on YouTube.  Check it out here.  They also had a rather entertaining service on Oscar Sunday that shouldn't be missed.  You can see that here. So this was something I saw today.

Day 551 - Church at Dawn - 11.22.12

My wife and I got up before dawn and went for a walk around my parents' neighborhood.  Maybe it was our way of getting a little exercise in before we packed on the calories of Turkey Day.  This is a Catholic Church that was built several years ago right next their neighborhood.  It looked great in the morning light.  It was something I saw today.

Day 497 - Parent Meeting - 09.29.12

This morning was the parent meeting for The Nutcracker.  Everyone gathered at the Little White Chapel in Burbank.  It was something I saw today.
