Day 661 - Madagascar 2 Bag - 03.12.13

Over breakfast this morning I decided to just take a photo of my bag that I carry to work every day.  I carry my iPad and usually some notes for projects I am working on.  So it was something I saw today.

Day 660 - Line of Chairs - 03.11.13

These chairs were lined up against a wall as I was heading out from work this evening.  It was something I saw today.

Day 659 - David Nos - 03.10.13

It is election season in Burbank and signs are everywhere.  I can't for it to pass so I can stop looking at all the signs on all the lawns.  This one for David Nos is something I saw today.

Day 658 - Sprouts - 03.09.13

My wife and I did some grocery shopping at Sprouts this afternoon.  We returned our cart here.  It was something I saw today.

Day 657 - Caution - 03.08.13

It rained Thursday night so the caution signs were out this morning at work.  This one on the way out of the parking garage was something I saw today.

Day 656 - Cloudy Day - 03.07.13

It was a cloudy day here in Glendale today at work.  I stepped out on our balcony around noon and took this photo of a very cloudy sky.  It was something I saw today.

Day 653 - Fat Burger - 03.04.13

Ever since I was a kid and the Beastie Boys rapped about flying a Fat Burger when they were way out west I wanted to try a Fat Burger.  I've lived in California now since 1997 and I never had one until tonight.  I finally made a point of going and trying one out.  I was extremely pleased.  Aside from the tasty food the Fat Burger we were in was playing some great old blues.  Nice.  This is the sign on the side of the restaurant.  It was something I saw today.

Day 652 - 2 Open Windows - 03.03.13

It was a beautiful day today which meant we had our windows open.  You can see these two corner windows of our house open in this shot.  It was something I saw today.

Day 651 - Refrigerator - 03.02.13

It looks like we got a new refrigerator today, but that isn't the case.  We just spent over an hour this afternoon cleaning out our refrigerator.  The first item back in was butter.  It was something I saw today.

Day 647 - Branches - 02.26.13

I didn't feel well at all today and so I stayed home from work.  Toward the end of the day I stepped out onto my porch to take a silhouetted photo of one of my trees.  It was something I saw today.

Day 646 - Morning Hallway - 02.25.13

I took this first thing in the morning when I got into work.  The hall lights weren't on and there was just the morning light coming in through the windows.  Made for a dramatic image.  It was something I saw today.

Day 645 - Senator John Percival Jones - 02.24.13

Today I went to Santa Monica to visit my mom and some aunts, an uncle and a cousin.  We walked over to a farmer's market where I saw a bust of Senator John Percival Jones.  I took this photo of the statue.  It was something I saw today.

Day 644 - Ikea - 02.23.13

I helped man a cookie table with my daughter who was selling Girls Scout cookies today.  We were across the street from the Ikea in Burbank.  It was something I saw today.

Day 643 - Moon Over Glendale - 02.22.13

Just before heading home this evening around 6PM I snapped this photo off the balcony of my building.  The sun had already gone down and the moon was up in the evening sky over Glendale.  It was something I saw today.

Day 641 - Campanile Theater - 02.20.13

This week is shaping up to be a week of photos at work.  This is the main entrance to our theater just before 8AM this morning.  It was something I saw today.

Day 640 - The Croods - 02.19.13

At work we are gearing up for our next release and so banners and artwork are decorating the buildings.  This banner for The Croods is on the building I work in.  It was something I saw today.

Day 639 - Rocket Fizz - 02.18.13

This after noon we took a trip to Magnolia Park to window shop and get a cold beverage.  We purchased said beverages at Rocket Fizz.  This is their sign.  It was something I saw today.

Day 638 - Olive Avenue - 02.17.13

I had to swing by a friend's house on Olive Avenue today.  I decided to take a picture looking down the street where you can see Olive Avenue running through all of Burbank.  It was something I saw today.

Day 637 - Portal Of The Folded Wings - 02.16.13

Today I had to swing by Fry's to pick up a couple things.  When we left I went down the road just behind the store to see this dead end road.  The structure in the back ground is actually a monument in a cemetery.  You can read on the wall "Portal of the Folded Wings."  Some day I want to actually go into the cemetery to take a closer look.  The other thing I like about this photo is the truck with the door left open.  It was something I saw today.

Day 636 - Trees and Sky - 02.15.13

This morning before getting into my car (like yesterday) I took out my camera and looked up.  I thought it was interesting the framing of the lower dark leaves and branches framing the sky and the higher limbs of the tree.  It was something I saw today.

Day 634 - Putting Green - 02.13.13

In one of the hallways at work some people have set up a little putting area.  Above it they also set up a big light box.  Together I thought they made for an interesting image.  It was something I saw today.

Day 633 - Chairs in A Row - 02.12.13

Today was one of those days where a bunch of the chairs from the cafeteria were moved outside.  Eventually a bunch of tables were moved out as well, but this is the chairs all by their lonesome first thing in the morning.  This was something I saw today.

Day 632 - Antenna and Frost - 02.11.13

This morning before getting into my frost covered car I took a picture of the antenna on my roof.  It was something I saw today.

Day 631 - Odysseo - 02.10.13

Cavalia the over prices horse show was here a few years ago and now they will be returning with their new show Odysseo.  They are setting up in the same place as before right next to the 5 freeway near Burbank Blvd.  I swung by the location today to take this photo.  You can see the early structure going up for the circus tent behind the sign.  It was something I saw today.

Day 630 - Cookies - 02.09.13

This morning my wife picked up tons of boxes of Girl Scout cookies.  Our house is a hub for the other girl scouts to come get their cookies.  We have large stacks of cookies such as this one all around our house.  It was something I saw today.

Day 629 - Roof Hook - 02.08.13

Again today I decided to take a picture at the top of the day.  This time I just stepped out in front of my house and looked to the overhang.  There was this old hook that must have been for hanging Christmas lights.  It was something I saw today.

I decided to get ahead of the game this morning and take a photo before work.  This is the mailbox in front of our house.  It was something I saw today.

Day 627 - Phone Plug - 02.06.13

This is the plug to charge my phone at home.  I am really bad about keeping my phone charged.  Recently I have just kept the charger in the wall in out front room to remind me.  It was something I saw today.

Day 626 - Barbie 50th Anniversary - 02.05.13

This is one of the several Barbies we have on display in the house these days.  It was something I saw today.

Day 625 - Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 2 - 02.04.13

Today for my lunch hour I ran out to Best Buy to buy myself a little gift.  I bought Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 2, which I am watching this evening.  This first part was excellent and I have a feeling the second part will be just as good if not better.  Part 2 has Batman and the Joker facing off as well as Superman and Batman going at it.  Comic bliss.  So this was something I saw today.

Day 624 - Gene Autry Root Beer - 02.03.13

My wife and I took an nice leisurely afternoon walk today.  The weather was perfect.  We wandered down to Magnolia Avenue and dropped in at Rocket Fizz to get a beverage.  I got a bottle of Gene Autry Root Beer.  It was good.  It had a little bite to it.  I brought the bottle home to photograph.  It was something I saw today.

Day 623 - Muir Mustangs - 02.02.13

Today my daughter had a choir event that took place at my son's old middle school across town.  I had not been there in many, many years.  This was a new painting on one of the walls.  It was something I saw today.
