Day 863 - Bill Cosby - 09.30.13

Recently I have been listening to some old Bill Cosby records.  Such a genius.  This stack of Cosby records is something I saw today.

Day 862 - Stretching Before Rehearsal - 09.29.13

I went to one of the Nutcracker rehearsals this afternoon.  My daughter was helping out with some of the younger girls.  This is a photo of one of my daughter's good friends stretching before rehearsal started.  It was something I saw today.

Day 861 - Depeche Mode Ticket - 09.28.13

Tonight the family and I are going to see Depeche Mode.  This is one of our e-tickets.  It was something I saw today.

Day 860 - Nutcracker Auditions Flyers - 09.27.13

When one walks into our house the first thing one sees is a small shelving unit for shoes.  These days however you will see flyers for The Nutcracker Auditions last week.  I guess we should toss these soon.  These were something I saw today.

Day 859 - Morning Sky - 09.26.13

This morning there were some very cool clouds out as the sun came up.  I love when there are clouds because they can catch that beautiful morning light and reflect it down to me.  When there aren't any clouds there is nothing to catch the light.  So these clouds were something I saw today.

Day 858 - Sunrise Clouds - 09.25.13

There were some cool looking clouds this morning when the sun was coming up.  This was the view from my front porch.  It was something I saw today.

Day 857 - Disneyland Resort Watch - 09.24.13

I switched watches this morning.  I have several Mickey Mouse watches.  I had been wearing this one for the past few weeks.  So since I had taken it off it was on my desk when I got home this evening.  It was something I saw today.

Day 856 - American Flag - 09.23.13

ABC News is right next to my work.  When I was getting into my car this evening I saw how the sun was back lighting the American flag over there and thought it was cool.  It was something I saw today.

Day 855 - Dancer's Feet - 09.22.13

More Nutcracker auditions today and today was a nine to five day.  That is a long day of taking photos in mostly one room.  It also means seeing a lot of dancing feet.  This line up was toward the end of the day with the more experienced girls.  It was something I saw today.

Day 854 - Nutcracker Auditions Today - 09.21.13

Nutcracker auditions started today.  So I spent my afternoon at the dance studio.  This sign out front was something I saw today.

Day 853 - Cloudy Morning Bin - 09.20.13

This is the same basic photo I took two days ago.  It is taken at the same time in the morning except it was cloudy this morning.  I thought that was interesting to compare the two.  It was something I saw today.

Day 852 - Sunny Gap - 09.19.13

This is my daughter before school this morning.  You'll notice the gap in her front teeth that wasn't there 4 weeks ago.  She has been wearing a palette spreader to get her mouth ready to put on some braces.  We thought we should take a photo to document the gap since it will soon disappear.  It was something I saw today.

Day 851 - Tree Shadow on Apartment Building - 09.18.13

I got home before the sun had completely dipped and I walked across the street to take this photo of the tree shadow on the apartment building.  It was something I saw today.

Day 850 - Morning Trash Bin - 09.17.13

It was a beautiful morning today.  The sky was very clear and the sun was very bright.  I returned to one of my old subjects, the trash bin next door, for today's photo.  It was something I saw today.

Day 849 - Dart In Flight - 09.16.13

We have a new dart board at work.  It was something I saw today.

Day 848 - ABT Testing - 09.15.13

My daughter had her ABT testing this afternoon.  Fanco De Vita came from New York to conduct the testing.  Afterwards he met with the dancers and their parents and answered questions.  It was very cool.  Then we took a group photo.  It was something I saw today.

Day 847 - Piercing Eyes - 09.14.13

This morning I took some photographs of a friend's family.  I took family portraits and some individual ones.  This on their oldest daughter and I thought her beautiful eyes were piercing in this one.  It was one of my favorites.  It was also something I saw today.

Day 846 - E News Van - 09.13.13

This afternoon I went to my daughter's dance studio to be part of a bit that was being filmed for "The Soup Investigates" which should be on the air later this year.  This was the van from E out in front of the studio.  It was something I saw today.

Day 845 - Morning Spider - 09.12.13

When I got to work this morning I saw this spider hanging out right in front of my car.  I took this photo then.  He was there at the end of the say as well.  It was something I saw today.

Day 844 - A Day To Remember - 09.11.13

It was September 11th today, a day of remembrance.  The flag at Five Points across from Costco in Burbank was flying at half mast.  It was something I saw today.

Day 843 - Train Tracks - 09.10.13

I swung by some train tracks on the way home from work this evening.  This is near Buena Vista looking toward the airport.  It was something I saw today.

The Wicked Kitchen truck was at work when I left this evening.  It was something I saw today.

This evening a neighbor on our block hosted a block party.  There were lots of hotdogs and spicy sausages.  This view of the BBQ is something I saw today.

I was back to work today.  I decided to get a photo taken as soon as I got to work.  I saw this scissor lift in the parking garage in the morning light.  It was something I saw today.

Had horrible back issues today, so much so that I stayed home from work and never left the house.  Late in the day I stepped onto my porch to take this photo of the bricks on my house.  It was something I saw today.

Day 835 - Chinatown Bike - 09.02.13

Today my wife, brother, sister-in-law and niece went to Chinatown here in LA.  We had fun checking out the various shops and we went to our favorite Dim Sum place CBS Seafood.  Of course I have a camera and I took some photos along the way.  This bike along this street was something I saw today.
