I was in Pasadena this morning to visit my dentist. On the way home I took a round about way in hopes of seeing something interesting to photograph. On the way there I passed a street that looked like it had an interesting building on it so I went back to find it. It was the
Scottish Rite Cathedral. Flanking the steps on the front were two statues of what I think may be sphinxes. I could be wrong. This is one of the statues in close up. It was something I saw today.
