I brought my camera on the morning walk this morning.  Snapped this photo at the corner of Fairview and Burbank.  This is something I saw today.
 

Day 3569 - Burned Trees Over the Valley - 02.27.21

This morning my wife and I took a hike up the trail above the Brand library in Glendale.  We found these burned out trees overlooking Burbank and Glendale.  This is something I saw today.
 

Day 3568 - Joan Baez "Joan Baez" LP - 02.26.21

Today the record for the 1001 challenge was Joan Baez's debut record "Joan Baez."  I've listened to this album several times in the last few weeks.  I have gained a whole new appreciation for it because I was really listening to the lyrics and music.  This is something I saw today.
 

Day 3567 - The Dave Brubeck Quartet "Time Out" - 02.25.21

Today on the 1001 albums journey we listed to "Time Out" from the Dave Brubeck Quartet.  This has a been a staple record in my collection for years and it was great playing it yet again this morning.  This is something I saw today.
 

Day 3566 - LA Fitness - 02.24.21

This morning I had a visit to my dentist in Pasadena.  I arrived a little early and so I walked down to Lake Street to take some photos.  The LA Fitness was of course empty.  The whole plaza that the LA Fitness is in was taped off and closed.  There were a couple security guards patrolling.  I took several pictures of this building and the plaza below.  This is something I saw today.
 

Day 3565 - The Sandman Issue #33 - 02.23.21

I've been rereading my Sandman comics.  Today I read issue #33 which is part two of the "A Game Of You" story arc.  This is something I saw today.
 

Day 3564 - Love & Rockets Comics - 02.22.21

Yesterday I swapped out the comics in these frames.  I put in a bunch of Love & Rockets comics.  I have had Love & Rockets in these frames in the past, but these are all different issues than before.  I really like this display.  I imagine this will be up until Halloween season comes in the fall.  This is something I saw today.
 

Day 3563 - Masked Up - 02.21.21

My son came by this morning.  I took this photo of him all masked up before he left.  This is something I saw today.
 

Day 3562 - Scotts Seed - 02.20.21

This is one of two bags of grass seed I have on my porch.  I put some weed killer on my lawn a couple weeks back.  In a couple more weeks, I will be able to put down this grass seed.  This is something I saw today.
 

Day 3561 - Do Not Enter, Wrong Way & One Way Signs - 02.19.21

I had to go into work again today.  So twice in one week I had to drive on the freeway.  These are some signs at the exit at Pass Avenue.  This is something I saw today.

The purple flowers in front of our house are in bloom and looking very colorful.  This is something I saw today.
 

Day 3559 - Burbank Bus Sign - 02.17.21

This morning I had to go get some blood drawn for tests.  This is the Burbank Bus sign in front of the building I go to on Alameda.  This is something I saw today.
 

Day 3558 - Grand Central Air Terminal - 02.16.21

Today I had to go get my first Covid test for work because I am supposed to go in to the office tomorrow.  The testing was done over on Grand Central in Glendale which is right near DreamWorks.  I had not been over to this neighborhood for quite a few years and was so please to see all the new buildings.  Most of all I was excited to see the Grand Central Air Terminal restoration was done.  I knew that this was taking place, but the last time I was here it was still very much no where near complete.  The space was all fenced in and ugly.  Now the building looks great and Disney has made a nice park around the building.  Too bad you need a Disney badge to get into the park, but I was able to take this photo from the sidewalk along Grand Central.  Seeing this made me very happy today.  This is something I saw today.
 

Day 3557 - Sunrise - 02.15.21

This morning's sunrise was incredibly vibrant.  The pinks were too much for my camera's chip as you can see in this picture.  I even switched over to RAW in hopes of being able to capture it better, but alas it was still a little too intense.  Reds have always been an issue.  This is something I saw today.
 

Day 3556 - Valentine Flowers and Cards - 02.14.21

Yesterday while shopping we picked up these flowers for Valentine's Day.  Below the flowers are the cards my wife and I got for each other.  This is something I saw today.
 

Day 3555 - Smart & Final - 02.13.21

Today I actually got away from the house for something other than a neighborhood walk.  My wife and I did some grocery shopping.  We went to Costco and Smart & Final.  This is the Smart & Final near out house and is something I saw today.
 

Day 3554 - Billie Holiday "Lady In Satin" - 02.12.21

Today I was listening to some Billie Holiday.  This classic record is coming up next week on the 1001 albums list and I was getting a jump on listening to the album.  This is something I saw today.
 

Day 3553 - Esquerita "Vintage Voola" - 02.11.21

Today on the 1001 Albums list was Little Richard.  Because we were listening to Little Richard I got out my Esquerita record to photograph so that I could recommend this record to my coworkers who were also listening to Little Richard today.  I figured that they had probably not heard of Esquerita.  This is something I saw today.
 

Day 3552 - Hibiscus - 02.10.21

Even though it is February our hibiscus plant has started blooming.  This is something I saw today.
 

Day 3551 - Los Yorsy's Con La Orquestra de Nacho Rosales "Jamaica Ska" - 02.09.21

This is a record that was in the Miller High Life box.  That box had a bunch of records from Latin America.  This Spanish version of Jamaica Ska was among the records.  I have listened to this several times since Saturday.  I need to digitize this record.  This is something I saw today.
 

Day 3550 - Miller High Life Box - 02.08.21

A couple years ago I got a couple boxes of records from a lady at church.  One was this Miller High Life box and it was full of 45s.  This pas week I got an actual proper case for 7-inch records and so this past weekend I reorganized my 7-inch records and emptied some boxes.  This Miller High Life box was one of those boxes.  I thought I'd photograph it before it went into the recycling bin. I mostly wanted to capture the great slogan "The Champagne of Bottle Beer."  This is something I saw today.
 

Day 3549 - John Carpenter's "Lost Themes III" - 02.07.21

This week I also got John Carpenter's "Lost Themes III" in the mail.  I had pre-ordered is a long time ago and so when it arrived it was a nice surprise.  I took this photo this morning while my son was visiting.  This is something I saw today.
 

Day 3548 - Weezer "OK Human" Record - 02.06.21

The new Weezer record came in the mail this week.  I have listened to it several times through.  Several of the songs are already on my list for favorite Weezer songs.  This is something I saw today.

My son gave this box of Sesame Street Cereal to me as a gift.  This is something I saw today.
 

Day 3546 - Blazin' Shake - 02.04.21

For lunch today we went to Blazin' Burgers which is a plant based fast food joint near us.  This is one of their plant-based shakes.  It was super yummy.  It was decorated up as a valentine shake.  This is something I saw today.
