Day 3450 - Skeleton Wind-Up Toy - 10.31.20

Today my wife lined app a bunch of out wind-up toys.  I liked how this skeleton wind-up looked like he was looking down the line.  This is something I saw today.

Day 3435 - "Burn, Witch, Burn" Blu-ray - 10.16.20

"Burn, Witch, Burn" is a film I fist saw last year and it was an utter revelation.  The opening narration over a black screen is one of the greatest film openings ever.  I finally ordered the Blu-ray which came this week.  I watched the film with an audio commentary track by Richard Matheson. I must say he was not very good.  He didn't have much to say about the film and there were long stretches of silence on the track.  It's okay, the movie is a masterpiece.  This is something I saw today.

I've watched this movie a couple times and I finally ordered the Blu-ray.  I think it is a bit of a masterpiece.  This is something I saw today.

Day 3431 - "Love At First Bite" Soundtrack LP - 10.12.20

I haven't seen this movie in many, many years.  I pulled the soundtrack out weeks ago when I put a handful of records out to play during the Halloween season.  To be honest most of the music isn't very Halloweeny, and is more disco, but that is okay.  I listened to it one afternoon a few weeks back and it was fun.  This is something I saw today.
 

Day 3430 - Scary Pumpkin Head - 10.11.20

This morning I went on a walk over to the new Aldi that is under construction in Burbank.  The progress is coming along.  On the way home I took a bunch of photos with my phone playing around with the settings.  I just got the phone a few weeks ago and I hadn't really experimented with the camera yet.  So this scary pumpkin head decoration was in someone's front yard.  This was something I saw today.

Day 3423 - "The House Of Mystery" Issue #264 - 10.04.20

Here is a special Halloween issue of "The House Of Mystery".  This is issue 264 from 1978.  It is sort of interesting, but not really novel that this Halloween issue is for the month of January 1979.  That is because comics come out months before the dates on their cover.  So even though this says January, it must have come out in October.  This is something I saw today.
 

Day 3422 - The Wolfman: The Legacy Collection - 10.03.20

I have all the various Universal Monster Legacy collections, but all but the Wolfman box are packed away in my garage.  I hope to at some point to take out those boxes so that I can put them on a shelf in my house.  I just need to get a shelf for those and other DVDs and Blu-rays.  My plan is to convert my son's room into a media room and it is in that room that we'll get some shelves.  My son recently moved out and so I am one step closer to realizing that goal.  However I don't foresee any shelves until 2021 at the earliest.  For now I'll just enjoy having the Wolfman collection on a shelf in my record room.  This is something I saw today.

Day 3421 - Jack-O-Lantern - 10.02.20

This is a sparkly Jack-O-Lantern head that is at the top of a metal skeleton decoration we have.  Here I over exposed it and put it in black and white to make is a little more graphic.  This is something I saw today.

As I have mentioned before I love the old "Tomb Of Dracula" comics.  The stories are good and most of them have pretty great covers.  This is a pretty dynamic one.  This is something I saw today.
