Day 3297 - Baby Yoda Up Stough Canyon - 05.31.20

This morning we went on a hike up Stough Canyon to the old scout camp.  Baby Yoda took this selfie looking over the field of yellow flowers.  The sound up there was a constant buzz of bees.  This is something I saw today.

Today I drove into the office to pick up a record player from my office.  Baby Yoda came along for the ride.  Here he is in front of the building my office is in.  This is something I saw today.

Day 3294 - Emma Blu-ray - 05.28.20

We rented this movie when it came out on demand.  The weekend we rented it I watched it twice.  The first time, I was in and out because of work, but the second time I watched it early in the morning uninterrupted.  It is great and so I bought the Blu-ray which came this week.  This is something I saw today.

Day 3293 - Guns N' Roses "Lies" CD - 05.27.20

I didn't really get on the Guns N' Roses train with "Appetite For Destruction."  It was this album "Lies" that hooked me.  I heard it at a party and fell in love with it.  I bought it on tape and then went back to "Appetite."  Recently I was listening to this on the computer and I realized the files were not the best quality and so I thought I should get this on CD.  I found it on e-bay for a couple bucks.  With shipping it was under five dollars.  It came in the mail while I was out of town.  It sounds great.  This is something I saw today.

Day 3291 - Morning Kiss - 05.25.20

This morning we got up early again to take photos and today we had much better luck in terms of my daughter feeling better.  This is one of the many, many photos we took this morning.  After the shoot, we drove back to her place so that I could download all the photos onto her computer and then my wife and I hit the road to travel back home to California. What a whirlwind of a weekend.  This is something I saw today.

Day 3290 - Baby Yoda Visits Tibble Fork Reservoir - 05.24.20

This morning we got up early to go take engagement photos of my daughter and her fiance.  Unfortunately my daughter was not feeling well and before we even got to the location I had to pull over for her to throw up.  We drove her back to out hotel for her to rest and then my wife and I drove up to the location, Tibble Fork Reservoir, to check it out.  I took advantage of the beautiful morning to do a quick photo shoot with Baby Yoda.  Here is is in the beautiful Utah mountains.  This is something I saw today.

Today we ordered some food from Chili John's.  There was an issue where the tamales we order got burned and so they had to make some new ones.  Because of the delay they gave up a free lemon pie.  It was so good.  We couldn't believe we had never gotten the pie before after all these years.  This is the box the pie came in.  It was something I saw today.

For May the Fourth I listened to this great "Star Wars" CD that I found at a thrift store s few years ago.  Every track is great.  The 90's were great for producing these cocktail lounge albums and this probably my favorite.  I listen to this a lot.  And I do mean a lot. Day 3269 - Gail and Ezra "Joy, Joy, Joy" - 05.03.20

This is a children's Christian record I picked up while back on a trip to either Utah or Arizona.  I honestly can't remember which.  I finally gave it a real listen today.  The record is pretty beat up and there are skips in it, but it is sort of weird and fun.  My wife liked it a lot because many of the songs were ones she remembered singing as a little girl at her church.  This is something I saw today.

Day 3268 - Photos In The Poppy Fields - 05.02.20

Today was the first weekend excursion we've done since the start of the quarantine.  Actually, it is the first one I've done.  My wife traveled out of town a couple weeks ago.  We went to the poppy fields and stayed away from everyone else.  My daughter and I took photo, of course.  This is something I saw today.
