Day 2925 - Chalk Art Festival in Santa Barbara - 05.25.19

Today we drove up to Santa Barbara for the annual Madonnari Italian Street Painting Festival.  This is going to be a chalk painting of Lilly Tomlin.  It was something I saw today.

Day 2924 - Arlo Guthrie's "Alice's Restaurant" LP - 05.24.19

Gave this record a spin this week.  I had not listened to it probably since I bought it many years ago.  It is a fun satirical record.  This is something I saw today.

Day 2923 - Leslie Gore "The Golden Hits of Leslie Gore" LP - 05.23.19

I love Leslie Gore.  Her single "Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows" is one of the most joyous infectious songs ever put to wax.  It is featured in the film "Ski Party" which is probably where I first heard it.  In the late 90's I was on a Beach Party movie kick and "Ski Party" in part of that cycle of films.  Leslie sings it on the bus ride up the mountain. The film also features James Brown, so you can't go wrong.  It is glorious.  This is a greatest hits record of Leslie's and it is something I saw today.

This is the Genesis record Duke.  Is has the singles "Turn Is On Again" and "Misunderstanding."  I've been listening to a bit of Genesis and Phil Collins recently because of the recent Hit Parade episode on them.  This is something I saw today.
