Day 2625 - Lush and Weezer Ticket - 07.29.18

I recently bought tickets to see Weezer this next month.  Coincidentally I was looking through some old CDs and found this concert ticket from way back in August of 1994 when I saw Weezer open up for Lush at Club DV8 in Salt Lake City.  The show was amazing.  I went to see Lush and at the time had just barely heard of Weezer.  They had the Sweater Song out, but that hadn't broken big with Buddy Holly yet.  I went in a Lush fan and came out a Weezer fan.  This ticket is something I saw today.

Day 2624 - Patrick Begorra's Home At Disneyland - 07.28.18

This tiny home belongs to Patrick Begorra, the Little Man of Disneyland.  Today we had a great day at the park.  A dear friend of ours got us in with some passes.  Hurray!  It was my wife, my daughter and I for the day.  I was able to snap this photo of Patrick's house which was one of my main goals of the day.  This is something I saw today.

I picked this Blu-Ray up at Pep Boys.  Not your normal place to get movies, but I saw it there for a few bucks and couldn't pass it up.  This is something I saw today.

Day 2604 - May The Force Be With You Movie and Kenner Movie Player - 07.08.18

My wife and I found this Kenner Movie player with a Star Wars cartridge at Wonder-Con this past year.  This is something I saw today.

Day 2603 - Scott Pilgrim in the Afternoon - 07.07.18

There has been a heat wave in Burbank.  Yesterday it was 111º.  Today was also super hot and so our approach to the day was to stay inside where it was cool.  We watched a bunch of movies.  My daughter's choice was "Scott Pilgrim vs the World", which is a choice I would never turn down.  We almost watched it earlier this week, but then we watched "Shaun of the Dead" instead.  This is something I saw today.

My wife got this orchid this week.  This is something I saw today.

Day 2601 - Frankie Goes To Hollywood "Welcome To The Pleasuredome" - 07.05.18

I listened to an interview with the guitarist of Frankie Goes To Hollywood this week and so I brought this record to work.  I haven't listened to it yet though.  In the end it never felt like a Frankie Goes To Hollywood type day.  This is something I saw today.

Day 2600 - Eaton Canyon Hike - 07.04.18

For Independence Day my wife, daughter and I went on a hike in Eaton Canyon.  It was a nice day and for the most part I did okay, but by the end my ankle was really hurting and later in the day when we were walking around the mall my muscles really started to feel it.  By the end of the day, I was limping around.  I'm old.  This was a pretty spot along the way where we stopped to take some photos.  This is something I saw today.

Day 2599 - The Buddy Holly Story Vol. II - 07.03.18

I brought this record to work today and then once I had it there I realized it was not only filthy, but a bit warped.  So I brought it back home at the end of the day.  This is something I saw today.

Day 2597 - Nine Inch Nails Cold and Black and Infinite North America 2018 - 07.01.18

I few weeks back tickets went on sale for Nine Inch Nails and The Jesus And Mary Chain.  Tickets were only available at the box office and my son went before the crack of dawn to wait in line and get us tickets.  He got this ticket holder as part of the package.  We have it out.  We are all very excited to go in December.  The show is going to be at the Palladium and it should be amazing because the venue isn't too, too big.  Can't wait.  This is something I saw today.
